Long walk

  1. Share common with golfers
  2. Cross road after 3 Horseshoes to other part of golf course and walk through woods.
  3. At road turn right then take first footpath through field. Turns into bridleway.
  4. Left at back of Old Albanians and through farm. Cross through fields shutting gates as sometimes have sheep. Over bridge and follow Hertfordshire Way down to Sandridgebury Lane.
  5. At top of hill and at end of Langley Wood, take right path along Disney plantation. Follow path to left and down to side of Nomansland.
  6. Left turn towards scout hut then left up hill beside Langley Wood.
  7. Right turn at top of hill at end of Langley Wood onto path beside Disney Plantation. Follow path to left down to Nomansland.
  8. Sharp left before Ayers End Lane along Boardwalk (wired to reduce slippiness). Crossing Ayers End Lane here is problematic as visibility is low. Marshal? Then follow Cinder Path.
  9. Cross Pipers Lane at junction. Possible flood at this point.
