DIY Sploof Method

Sploof is equipment to minimize the smoke using a filter. You don’t have to buy a commercial sploof; you can easily DIY at home. To assemble it, you will need an empty toilet paper roll, a dryer sheet, and a rubber band.

Steps:

  • Place three dryer sheets inside the toilet paper tube.
  • You can put toilet paper instead of a dryer sheet, but it does not filter well like dryer sheets.
  • Once you have secured the sheets, use a rubber band to tie the dryer sheet on the top of the funnel.

While using it, exhale the smoke into the funnel rather than in the air. Doing this will minimize the level of smoke in the air. This way you can also prevent from smoke stains from the wall.

Exhale the Smoke Into the Moist Cloth

If you do not have time to make a DIY sploof, utilize a cloth or towel to exhale the smoke. Make sure not to wear the cloth after you are done smoking. The odor may linger around the cloth. Also, machines wash the towel or cloth as soon as possible.
