walkit.com shortlisted for London Transport Awards

We're very excited to announce that walkit.com have been shortlisted in the “Excellence in Travel Information & Marketing” category for the London Transport Awards, run by the Transport Times.

The London Transport Awards are about recognising excellence in
transport, rewarding innovation and progress for transport initiatives which are really working.

We're up against the following projects in our category:
  • TfL – The East London Line Extension (phase 1) launch campaign
  • BAA Heathrow Commuter – Heathrow Commuter Team: Delivering Results Through Marketing
  • Lambeth Council / TfL – London Cycle Challenge
  • London Borough of Harrow – It's Up to All of Us Interactive Customer Engagement Project
  • London Borough of Richmond upon Thames – Catch up with the Bicycle
  • Living Streets – Living Streets' Walk Once a Week (WoW) scheme
  • Serco Docklands – Real Time Communications at Serco Docklands
  • LB of Camden – Car Free Day Camden Town
Winners will be announced at the London Transport Awards Dinner on the 28th April 2011, so we'll be keeping our fingers crossed until then!
