Walking Cambridge to Kent

In December this year, “The Oar Raisers” aka Tom Dignum and Chris Howard, will be rowing the 2500 Nautical miles across the Atlantic to raise money for Parkinson's UK. An ambitious challenge I'm sure you'll agree!

But before the boys embark on that, they'll be walking the 80 miles from Cambridge to Kent on February 4th, in order to give them an idea of where they are physically and mentally, and to give their fundraising a boost.

If you fancy a challenge, you're welcome to join the walk and raise some sponsorship money for this great cause yourself. Or, if you're not quite up to the 80 mile hike, there are a variety of ways you can sponsor the guys for the big event, including sponsoring them by the mile, feeding them for a day, or donating items to be auctioned off.

The very best of luck to The Oar Raisers and friends for next months walk, the big event and all other activities in-between! You can follow their progress on their blog, facebook and twitter.
