This year, Mencap is hosting a series of sponsored Walk with me events across the country. Our Leeds event will take place at John Charles Centre for Sport (formerly South Leeds Stadium) from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
Anyone can take part in a Walk with me. Whether you take on 100 metres or 5 km – the challenge is yours! Get your school involved, put up posters, and challenge your teachers and friends to walk with you. Or why not get a group of family and friends together and come along in fancy dress to make the most of the day?
If you have a disability, know someone who does or just want to show your support, come and join Walk with me in Leeds.
