Birmingham ArtsFest 2009

Birmingham's annual free arts bash, ArtsFest, is on this weekend from the evening of Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September. If you are in the city at the weekend why not pop along and see the wide range of cultural activities on offer?
The festival showcases everything from the heavyweight City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ex Cathedra and Birmingham Royal Ballet, through cutting-edge, must-see groups including Stan's Café and a very wide range of community arts, music and dance groups.
All in all it's a great reason to get out and walk around the city centre, and indeed to walk to it. If that takes your fancy, then here are a couple of widgets to help you plan your day – enjoy!
