Our annual user survey: What do you really think about walkit.com?

A while ago nationalrail.co.uk had the habit of doing this intensely annoying thing where, after spending a lot of time working out your ideal journey, you'd then click the 'buy tickets' button and be 'cast off' to one of the rail operator's sites to complete the purchase….to find your carefully chosen journey details had vanished when being transferred from one to the other.

It was maddening, a waste of my time, bad for the train sector, bad for business.

And it would happen time and time again.  But rather than write in to nationalrail.co.uk alerting them to this I'd just quietly (or loudly) curse their stupidity.

So welcome to our annual user survey!

If you're having a similar experience with walkit.com, we'd really like to know about it.

We do have a long list of improvements, but it's always helpful to know which our users think we should prioritise.  Lots of you do already write in with ideas, complaints and praise – apologies if we haven't got back to you yet.  It's all logged and helps influence future developments.

So please spare us no more than 10 minutes to complete the survey.

Many thanks.

This is the most useful resource ever-I dont drive and work accross a large section of Bristol which the buses dont really cover so this site has been invaluable! Well Done and keep up the good work.

This site is all about walking to stay healthy and cut down on pollution which is great. However having used it to plan my route by foot in Sheffield I have found it does not always show the quickest route. This is because it only showed me directions by road and does not include footpaths that I knew existed. The site would be even more useful if it included shortcuts away from roads.

Your website is easy to use. It's very helpful to me.
